Trucy was splayed over the table, dying. Only the sight of Kurt crossing the threshold of the park could offer any hope of survival. And even then, that hope was slim, for her vision faded further with each passing second...

She shot up at the sight of his distinctive blue-black hair, miraculously revitalized, and frantically waved an arm.
